Mary Iskander

Mary achieved a Bachelor of Podiatry degree from La Trobe University, Melbourne, in 2006, and has been a valuable member of the Penshurst Podiatry team since 2012.

With a keen eye for biomechanical deficiencies, Mary brings holistic, evidence-based treatment to all her patients. She has a particular interest in lower limb assessment and children's gait development.

Mary's kind, attentive nature will put you at ease from the first appointment. She is charitable and gracious, spending periods of her time volunteering her podiatry skills to not-for-profit organisations.

"Podiatry is a rewarding profession due to the diversity of work involved and the many amazing client interactions that I’ve been fortunate enough to experience."

In her spare time Mary enjoys travelling, hiking, spending quality time with her gorgeous nephew and being an active member of her church congregation.

Interesting facts- Mary can also speak conversational Arabic. On a podiatric medical mission in Kenya she treated wounds, removed parasites, and corrected biomechanical anomalies.
